Environmental Monitoring

The I.I.S. Solar Pod is designed to power area radiation monitors and continuous air monitors for environmental monitoring at long ranges. The aluminum frame houses a 65W solar panel with an overload/overcharge controller which charges a 12V gel cell battery.

Linked 2-Sensor wireless device transceiver provides reliable and simple to use wireless connectivity for sensors and instruments via radio communications enabling data from remote field teams to be instantly transmitted to a central monitoring system without having the need to deploy a field based radio system. It’s enclosed in a weather resistant case suitable for outdoor use and connects directly to an instrument.  The unit contains an integrated GPS receiver to provide location awareness of remote operations to command centers.

The Link2 Sensor LTS-06 has multiple integrated radios allowing communication with a wide array of wireless instrumentation and telemetry systems.  This small radio  transceiver provides great portability and compact installation.  The LTS-06 provides a smart instrument interface that has the ability to communicate with over 70 instruments from leading manufacturers. Connectivity can be achieved via wired connections via the DE-9 port or wirelessly to Bluetooth enabled devices.  The LTS-06 reads and interprets important measurements, alarms, and the device status. This data is encrypted and transmitted in a low bandwidth format to compatible remote monitoring systems.

The Link2 Sensor LTS-12 is a highly versatile radio transceiver providing long range 900MHz wireless connectivity to nearby Bluetooth LE and CNET Mesh devices.

The LTS-12 also includes a micro-USB port for PC based configuration and/or power, a standard DE-9 port for wired connections using RS232 or RS485 to nearby instrumentation and an internal GPS for instrument location awareness.  The smart instrument interface has the   ability to communicate with over 70 instruments from leading manufacturers.  The LTS-12 reads and interprets important measurements, alarms, and the device status. Instrument data is packaged with GPS location then encrypted and transmitted in a low bandwidth format to compatible remote monitoring systems.

Link2-Gateway is a wireless gateway that connects multiple Link2 devices to the Remote DNA portal via a local LAN or via mobile broadband (GSM).  It reads instruments that are directly connected via serial or USB.  The 3.5″ LCD touchscreen which is used to configure the connection type, connected device types and other detailed information without needing a host computer.
